Subject: [Leica] Tuesday Tree

If we can have a Friday flower, why not a Tuesday tree?

This shot isn't particularly well done, but I thought the subject matter was
interesting.

I drove by this tree for several days, contemplating a vantage point to
shoot it because of its unusual -- and terminal -- posture. But, it was on
private property, and the best I could do was a wide angle shot from a long
distance slightly along a busy highway.

I lost a lot of the detail blowing it up, but the interesting demise of this
giant remains. After probably three months on the ground, it still wanted to
grow, as evidenced by the new growth in the foreground and at the unseen
ends of the other two sections of the tree...

A tribute to the tenacity of life?

A sign of the times as well? Down but not out???
