Yes, just like that!  We even met buses flying around some of those 
one lane curves with a several hundred foot drop-off.  Instead of 
sensible rules like traffic going up has the right of way, it seems 
that in Peru (and Bolivia) the biggest vehicle always has the right 
of way.  We ended up backing quite a bit. :-(
