I have one nominee for both categories.

It's the best:
The Noctilux 1.0 has a personality that varies with aperture--creamy  
to normal.

It let's you zero out depth of field.

It let's you take pictures in the dark.


It's the worst:
The Noctilux 1.0 can have focus shift problems.

It weighs a ton.

It's too expensive.
