As I explained, I'm showing these to young children who make a connection when the child in the photo is looking directly into the camera. I do not believe these photos evoke pity at all. If I were selecting a set of photos to show people working and progress, they would be totally different photos. That is not the intent of this selection. Tina Tina Manley www.tinamanley.com
