Hannover was pretty much the centre of Blues in Germany in the late 70s early 80s. Champion Jack Dupree lived here (and died here), Louisiana Red lived here for quite a while (possibly still does), Memphis Slim was a regular visitor, too. If I can find them, I've a set of pictures somewhere I took of an impromptu meeting of Dr. Ross, Willie Mabon and Louisiana Red in a closed bar late one night.
