Harrison & Harrison provide filters to Hollywood. They are US-made and VERY high quality. And you buy them directly, not through dealers. Helipan and B+W are other options but, again, order directly. All of these firms have web-sites and are user-friendly. And, yes, H&H Series VII filters run around $25 or so. I haven't needed to buy any since the middle 1990's, when they were $7 each. As for Summitar filters, both Ednalite and Tiffen made Series VI adapter rings for the Summitar, and these are the sort of thing you score at a camera show for $1 or so. My IIIc camera came with a Tiffen Summitar adapter, so I've never used the Leitz Summitar filters though I do on a few of these. Marc msmall at aya.yale.edu Cha robh b?s fir gun ghr?s fir!
