Several years ago, I "tested" the 35 pre-asph Lux, ASPH Lux, and V3
Summicron.

You could go to the archives and find it.... for some details.....

But the bottom line is that the 35 pre-ASPH is not terribly sharp wide open,
but has a pleasant look to it..... and was the same size as the Cron....

By the time it got to about F4, there was no apparent difference.

The 35 ASPH Lux is by far the sharpest......
