Let's hope Leica does not take that route. If Leica takes this route, which would be the simplest for them, I think David Lladro over at Leitax will be very busy turning out R>N bayonets. I know I am going to convert all my R lenses to N mount and use them on my D700 while awaiting developments. I doubt very much if I will ever buy a new R outfit if the compatibility of old R lenses is no better than fitting R lenses with Nikon mounts on Nikons (i.e. no auto diaphram). Cheers Howard.
