First figure out where the scratch is being caused.... the actual bit of pressure plate that is causing the problem.... If you can feel the problem, better yet. It is probably on the edge of the pressure plate.... Use a pencil eraser ( the pink type) to wear down the rough spot..... It should only take a few rubs to get it smooth.... feel to see if the problem is fixed.... Repeat as needed...... For final honing, use toothpaste..... ( your choice of brand, but something with a bit of "grit" to it) on the end of a finger. Rub. Clean, and feel for the fix. Repeat as needed..... It may not work, but what have you to lose....? BTW, be careful... you do not want pencil eraser stuff floating around in your camera... nor toothpaste...... If the back will come off the camera, that sounds safest....
