Here in Alicante, it only reached 110 km/h but that was enough to do serious damage, including some minor damage to our house. There are downed trees all over the place. In the morning, I went for a walk near the beach. At that time, the main problem were roads blocked by tumbleweeds. It got worse later in the day. http://www.greatpix.eu/gallery/4253606_netUM#460867979_DLMLw-O-LB The funny thing is that despite the bad weather, it was blue sky and sunshine, and quite warm. I spent most of the day wearing a short- sleeved shirt.
