Well, it got down to 10 here in Richmond, VA, last night but zoomed up to 35 or so by early afternoon. I did get a bit chilly when I walked out several hours back to get the mail and thought, but only briefly, about digging out a pair of long pants. Year-round, I wear shorts unless I'm at a Defense Force drill or the like. But, then, I am VERY well insulated by my adipose layers! I do own some great gloves but I'm not certain where they are as they got dislocated in our move three years ago. I last wore them when I was camping with my Scout troop in Connecticut in 1974 and the temperature was around five below. Yes, when I was a lad, women had to wear gloves to work, along with skirts and heels. Quite a bit different today! I doubt that my wife owns any gloves, but then her outdoor exposure is from the parking garage, through the Marriott, and then a half-block outside to get to her office.
