I'm still shooting film, and 21mm is essential in every tight space or up close situation I've ever been in. 28mm is the next substantial step up from 21, seen from a 24x36 film perspective. But in a lightweight film M kit, it's 21mm plus a fast 35mm. Nothing in between matters all that much. Fly in the ointment: Leica's 24/2.8 ASPH is one killer optic. Emanuel
