The weather went downhill rapidly and we ended up with barely an hour and a half in place rather than the day we had planned. We did get to see a small part of the rim as it doesn't commonly appear. - 20 Celsius means some snow and ice and closing airports and freezing ears and fingers for the under-prepared sub-tropical Aussies. For the record the M8 did not stutter once, in and out of my jacket, battery and card change in the middle. On the other hand I skidded on the ice and took my daughter for a little mini toboggan. I largely used the Zeiss 18 with also the superb Summicron 28 ASPH. Hyperfocal means warmer fingers too. These 8 shots are a tough edit from 116. <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/gh/a/usa/e/g/> <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/gh/a/usa/e/g/> http://tinyurl.com/988puw Comments appreciated.
