Actually, it read to me much like a small-world, "we're all family" sort of thing, aimed at their existing population of dealers, customers, and dreamers. Used to see these sorts of things in the back of smalltown shoppers' gazettes - "We'd appreciate if you'd buy this product. It's at least as good as anything else we sell in its class and the guy who makes it wants to marry our daughter." Have to admit I like the low-key approach. No "You Too Can Be Steve McCurry," no "National Geographic keeps track of our customer list," no "Nubile Women will rip their OWN clothes off when they see one of our cameras!!!!!!" I have a dealer nearby but, what with one thing and another, I have better uses for the cash just now. -- R.
