We ended up at about 3,000 feet, and had a nice day of it. M8, 50/2 DR Summicron, 35/2 Summicron v. 4, and CV 28/3.5. This is pretty nice, if I do say so myself. There's too much detail to show properly on the screen, looks better printed. <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/pklein/album170/L1004667-w.jpg.html> Just for fun, here's the same place last July: <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/pklein/joseph08/L1004074.jpg.html> The vine maple is a tree that grows like a vine, and is one of the few native trees that turn red around here: <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/pklein/album170/L1004637-w.jpg.html> <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/pklein/album170/L1004649-w.jpg.html> <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/pklein/album170/L1004660Crop-w.jpg.html> These colors are more typical: <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/pklein/album170/L1004650-w.jpg.html> Playing with reflections here, natural versions of Debussy's "Sunken Cathedral": <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/pklein/album170/L1004642Crop-w.jpg.html> <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/pklein/album170/L1004647Crop-w.jpg.html> And of course I met some dogs. I always do. Their owner said: "They're not dogs. They're aliens." <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/pklein/album170/L1004636-w.jpg.html> Enjoy, comments welcome. --Peter
