One of Ann's long held friends called last week
to report that one of her dear friends lost his life
in a bicycle accident - gave me pause - in my short and brief rides

only one accident for me - back in the 70's
me in down hill coast,
maybe 18 - 22 mph
young and loving it
guy opens car door
ride over

never passed a parked car
on the left
with someone in the drivers seat
again

Fond regards,
George
