We see them frequently, but photos are harder to obtain. This female is the one who appears to be dominant in selecting which ones can feed and which ones are denied the priviledge. Their aerobatic manuevers are fun to watch. Shot in RAW through two panes of glass with Oly E-510, an old Hanimex 135/2.8 lens, ISO 200, 1/750 at 2.8, finished in Elements 6.0. Cropped considerably. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/Ruby+Throat+Female.tif.html Comments and critiques welcomed. Jim Nichols Tullahoma, TN USA
