All my drawing boards were set for standing (with high stools) when needed. My darkroom sink was elbow high (when standing) and also had a rarely use high stool. I've tried a number of different computer configurations to "get off the butt;" none have worked out well - so far. When clients come to work with me - they're not comfortable with the standing around version of things. My current in-home office will not accommodate my "too huge" pneumatic rise and fall drawing board which allowed me to stand and also lower it for client meetings. Plus the work itself does not invite movement like the drawing boards and darkroom did. Now it's all about hands and wrists - not arms and legs. You've got me thinking though ; ~ ) Fond regards, George george@imagist.com http://www.imagist.com http://www.imagist.com/blog http://www.linkedin.com/in/imagist On Sep 8, 2008, at 1:16 PM, Tina Manley wrote: > There's no reason you can't dance along while working on the computer.
