Well our good old Ray Ray Gone Nagin tried to make it hard for NOLA 
residents to get back today but finally cooler heads prevailed and 
checkpoints were lifted.

It's been raining here in Jackson,MS since Monday because of Gustav. Instead 
of turning towards Texas, he decided to get MS a little wet. I managed a wet 
trip to Vicksburg to see the Civil War park yesterday, the hotel was making 
me nuts. 

We'll have to fill up on a few supplies before we reach NOLA, there may not 
be a power for a couple more days.
