My array is made of 'Cudas ES2, but a boot disk doesn't need to be big -- so it might as well have unreasonably-fast seek times (so it can do double duty as scratch space, or just so you can hear the extra-fast ticky-ticky at boot). http://www.wdc.com/en/library/sata/2178-001026.pdf Jeez, looks as if in the time I've had it, that line of drives has gone "legacy". WD's getting into the speedy-2.5-inch scene, following the Seagate Savvio family (except WD's still willing to deliver fast drives in SATA form).
