I'm using the "big brother" Nikon D3 from january and altthough size and volume is an issue images are wonderfull specially with 14-24mm f2.8 and 24-70mm f2.8. The arrival of the D700 -a more "normal" size and volume- some weeks ago put my D3 on standby as the image quality has same level and is a more comfortable camera. I cannot think of a better low light camera. Have a look at http://photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=841877 where most of pictures are at 6.400 ISO Regards Felix
