If you notice - most commercial magazine covers have the subject looking straight into the camera because it prompts someone to pick up the magazine. Same thing with some documentary photographs. If you want the subject to "speak" to the viewer, it's sometimes good to have them look straight into the lens. It's great for fund-raising projects ;-) Tina Tina Manley www.tinamanley.com
