Everybody has to have signed permission from every person photographed with detailed information about how and where the photos will be used. We had hundreds of pages of signed permissions for our Families of Abraham exhibit. I haven't run into that yet in developing countries. There, people are usually just happy that anybody cares enough about them to photograph them! Here in the USA, I started running into the problem of needing signed permission about five years ago and it's only gotten worse.
