If I were doing the kind of work that MICHAEL KAMBER is doing - I'd probably feel much as he does about the M8. When I was doing pj work on a daily basis - a life time ago - I'd probably not put up with M8 idiosyncrasies. But now - each time I pick it up - still in love with the little thing. Same with the R8/DMR - except "big thing." The love has a lot to do with mounting Leica glass, loving manual focus with precision optics, and the feel of the system. The 5D and 20D and their auto lenses without iris rings and useable manual focus feel dull by comparison. If Leica does not continue to improve their M and R digital - I might move back to Nikon - even though my last Nikon experiences were less than enthusiastic - they were quite a number of generations ago - and not digital.
