Thank you, kind sir! I actually have that very version of the document but failed to check it. Foolish me! However, I doubt that these lenses were "made" in Germany. Rollei almost certainly had the lens mounts made in Japan and quite possibly the lens elements as well, though Zeiss does permit Rollei to produce the more mundane lens designs and they are quite well equipped to do so. But, in the end, I would suspect that both the mount elements and the lens elements came from the Orient and were simply assembled in Braunschweig to earn that "Made in Germany" label, just as Leica does with some of its gear -- parts made in Portugal, for instance, but "assembled" at Solms.
