Some vignetting. Never have seen any flare in all the years I used it (which I can not say from the 35 Color Skopars PI and PII). Canon 50/1.2 - great lens with a even greater fingerprint. Flare not really an issue if the original hood is mounted. This lens is made for being used wide open. So don't talk about corner sharpness at f1.2 unless your subjets are always in the corner, or you want to justify yourself the 10x higher price of your Nocti. Didier
