It's heavily played in my town and many of the others around here by kids starting at age 5. High school soccer is very intense and pulls in good crowds. Unless it's baseball I've sort of given up on pro team sports. I sorta follow American-style football. Don't do the other pro sports at all -- mostly I follow college and that locally. Probably I should get a rivalry going with Frank since UC Davis is in the same conference as Long Beach now....<grin> Curiously I'm quite detached about the Olympics this year. I'd like to care, even about the swimming in which I was heavily involved in the past as an official, but the money and the corruption and the politics make me wretch. I wouldn't pay a dime to go to an Olympic event at this point even if they were around the corner... Adam
