A Pentax Spotmatic was another than that one usually went first. With the Canon TLb you'd tear the film out of the cartridge after the last shot. The thumb ratcheting thing was just too good for its own good or your good. With later versions they fixed this. That or any SLR of the day was clunky compared to the Spotmatic (not a spot) but was totally serviceable and I liked it. Glass was just fine...
