Hi:

Kidpics is what I do....

I agree with Hoppy!  I really like the B/W better, but wife will want the
color.  So use the color photo but with the same B/W crop.  (Agree too
about acentuating the eyes a bit).

OK now use the same crop as the BW but leave it in the original colour! 
Sneak the sharpness and saturation of the eyes up a little.
