Subject: [Leica] OT Follow Up: Prius Reliability (from an Owner)

There is probably no engine that is more babied than a Prius'. It never has
to work too hard because whenever high power outputs are required the
elecric motors are there to help. Also the wear associated with cold starts
is diminished by a thermos which stores hot coolant between uses. If all the
electronics etc turn out to be long lasting the Prius may well be one of the
longest lasting cars ever made.
