As an amateur I found it a challenging but very enjoyable assignment. I had to rush there after work on the Friday evening, but the Saturday afternoon was more leisurely. I had not photographed in floodlights mixed with sunshine before, and colour temperature took a lot of work. Maybe I should work in b/w as so many LUGgers do. I was impressed with the lack of flare generally. Of course there were some lens reflections, and a few shots affected by banding, which I have not shown. I was anxious not to get in anyone's way, and never clicked the shutter when the recording light was on. When shooting from the organ loft with a tripod, I kept the longer lenses at just below their maximum aperture, and ever so slightly changed focus between each quick picture, hoping for at least one good one. There were no posed shots at all. I have distilled more than 200 pictures down to 24 for the gallery. Printing has gone well on A3 (Epson R2400 with Permajet ink + paper) for the best. My Noctilux then went away for coding and I await its return. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/mnsh/Cambridge/Trinity/choir+and+Academy+of +Ancient+Music/ http://tinyurl.com/ysfkqk Comments and criticism welcome.
