Every tool has its limitations and therefore requirements. Just as  
the 5D has wonderful high ISO capability it can also be dialed down  
to ASA 50. However, I'd rather carry an ND filter (or two) for the M8  
than the huge lenses for the 5D; and go for that remarkable fine detail.
