That sounds like a great idea, Larry.  It occurred to me that I could 
put the slide pages or negative files on my light table and take a 
digital photograph of them.  That way I can import them into the 
computer and edit them.  I ran into the same problem with scanning 
everything.  That's what my husband has been having a fit about.  If 
I scan everything, it will take me about 50 years!  He's been 
insisting that I edit some way, but I just can't edit with a loupe on 
a light table anymore.  I need to see it big!!
