[Leica] philosophy of street photography

The M system is certainly more suited for street photography than huge and 
clacking SLRs. But since there are more silent digital cameras with swivable 
LCD screens I find those even more suitable for discreet shooting. Just came 
home from the first school day of my youngest son. He and the other kids did 
not notice me shooting from the hip (with a Canon S3 and popped out LCD 
screen), while other, DSLR-equipped parents made their kids nervous with 
"look at me, smile!"...
