Frank... I was looking for an opinion on the .8 model....

Is eye relief an issue?  With glasses?
Does the thing stay mounted to the eyepiece or does it have a tendency to
come off?

I haven't used the real Leica ones but I bought the 1.25 and 0.8 ones  
from Hong Kong and they are OK IMO.
