PAW 26 is my favorite local tree, located near the entrance of a wildlife preserve. Five years ago, it was the victim of a lightning strike, which split its left trunk in half. The trunk was splinted immediately after, and today the tree is doing well. _http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Ira+Silverman/2007+PAW/2007+PAW+26.jpg.html_ (http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Ira+Silverman/2007+PAW/2007+PAW+26.jpg.html) (Leica M4, 35mm Summicron, 400TX, Orange Filter) PAW 27 is a picture of my faithful canine companion, Einstein, who has appeared here before. But with other pet pictures appearing, he?s demanded equal time ;-). _http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Ira+Silverman/2007+PAW/2007+PAW+27.jpg.html_ (http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Ira+Silverman/2007+PAW/2007+PAW+27.jpg.html) (Canon 30D, 17-40 F/4.0L, ISO 800) As always, comments are both welcomed and appreciated.
