Sure, and owners of Canon or Nikon might feel the same way. But the  
M8 has a particularly thin cover (if it can even be called that. It  
is closer to a coating) to the sensor, and so the experience of  
others with Nikons and Canons may not be relevant. Since cleaning the  
sensor is a necessary thing to do on occasion, some guidance from  
Leica would be helpful. Guidance does not have to be so much ruled by  
concerns about liability.
