I announced it not because of "honors" but to discourage on-list replies to 
his messages, since he wasn't going to get them. He said some provocative 
things and then unsubscribed quickly. I was worried that people were going 
to respond to those provocative things (a waste of LUG time) not knowing 
that he wouldn't see those responses.
