Family gatherings, same watering hole, newspapers, whatever. However if one does hang around a bit - one does find tidbits of news and small surprises. Bill's Texas way-back and Ric's NC harbor studies have definitely gifted us with bodies of work that do not quite (exactly) fit the "ground hound day" experience. Although my life does, for the most part, fit it quite frighteningly literally. Yet, my Saturday babysit of my granddaughter broke the mold, and hopefully my photographing a new wrought iron gate this afternoon will do the same. Your coming back with the observation certainly fits your mold very well ;~) Good to hear from you. As others have mentioned, you've been missed by this old ground hog.
