Anyone have any experience witrh these? > vroger > I'd get the nikon VR!. Its kind of a standard of the industry. They make a cheaper one the COOLSCAN V ED which is about just as good just a tad slower than the higher end one which most pro's have like myself. But much cheaper. the Super COOLSCAN 5000 ED is the top one. I think the same specs just slower V but its all right here. http://www.nikonusa.com/template.php?cat=1&grp=98 I hate it when my friend get the other stuff. I think they're losing out. Unless its the super high end pricy stuff from Denmark or somewhere. Mark Rabiner Harlem, NY markrabiner.com The Super COOLSCAN 9000 ED is for Brownie film and cost a real lot of bucks. ED stands for Ed the guy who designed it Ed Coolscan. The entire Coolscan family is quite talented actually. Pete Coolscan wants to join the Peace Corps. Not a real money maker but his hearts in right place. What are you going to do with a guy like that?
