I was at Comdex is Las Vegas in the 90's when I saw flash memory for the
first time. I think it was a Lexar booth. I asked about applications.
Someone mentioned digital photography. 

I replied, "Digital cameras instead of film? Like that'll ever happen!" 

Obviously my imagination wasn't working that day. :-)
