I guess I just really like to see the big tonal range from near black to near white. The chair is very dark brown leather, the son is very fair skinned and with a black shirt. Maybe a lower contrast rendering would be more accurate and also easier to print. I don't like to vary the developing technique. In any case I am never dedicated not organised enough to shoot the entire roll in only one lighting situation. So its all post processing decisions after the capturing all of the tones in the scan.
