This is the same man who won't smile because photos are so important? This time I must say that I enjoy the color shots much better. Your M8 really shows off the Summicron's ability. My Summicron seems to do best when I shoot Velvia through it - and these photos captured that color AND his skin tone magnificently. I'm guessing from viewing these that the non-DR is as good a lens as my DR (I'm assuming non-DR from all the lamentations I've read about the DR's incompatibility with the camera?). The prickly pear too, is beautiful. They don't seem to have as much color here in West Texas (now that I've said that, Bill will - hopefully - dazzle us with an incredible West Texas cactus shot). ;-) Jeff M ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve Barbour" <kididdoc@cox.net> To: "LUG Group" <lug@leica-users.org>; "LEG" <leica@freelists.org>; "MUG Users" <MUGers@yahoogroups.com>; "LRF" <leicareflex@freelists.org> Sent: Saturday, May 12, 2007 3:13 PM Subject: [Leica] outside my house... > Macedonio, our long time gardener...lunchtime > > http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/barbour/PAW2007/maced1.jpg.html > > > fluids... > > http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/barbour/PAW2007/maced2.jpg.html > > > the results... > > http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/barbour/PAW2007/yellow.jpg.html >
