We always use Epson refills. After wasting much time with printer driver settings, my wife and I discovered that the truest colours are achieved by just inserting the memory card into the printer slot. I think I saw something once that the JPG files were optimised for Epson printers. I have tried also printing some TIFF files from my D-LUX 2 but it took an hour to print a 4x6 print, and was barely distinguishable from the JPG version. The reason I originally gave up on the darn thing was constant clogs. Well, I tried. New cartridges, lots of cleaning....and the darn thing still clogs. So I'm in the hole about $100--and frustrated and still using the local Costco. I'm curious what printer LUG members are using. Decent quality, no CLOGS. If I get a strong recommendation I might try one more time. Otherwise it's the online providers for me.
