I am doubly pleased to report that there is no vignetting at 28mm so I am good to go. Thanks to Joseph and Ray for pointing me to Camera Repair Centre. :-) Cheers Howard On 21 Apr 2007, at 1:17 PM, lug-request@leica-users.org wrote: > Message: 23 > Date: Fri, 20 Apr 2007 21:17:49 -0700 > From: Tom Schofield <tomschofield@comcast.net> > Subject: Re: [Leica] 49 to 46 Step down ring was Leica Service in Hong > Kong > To: Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org> > Message-ID: <F532E7F6-E4A8-4BB3-8D73-96C5D0323313@comcast.net> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; delsp=yes; format=flowed > > That's basically what I did, except to put a pice of white paper over > the film plane, and used it like a ground glass looking for > vignetting.
