Sean Reid is doing tests over at his site and he suggests the Heliopan filters are a bit weaker than the B+W filters which are much closer to the Leica filters in terms of effects. Perhaps a 67mm filter from Heliopan will be more workable. If you get one and test it I would be very interested in hearing the result. Cheers Howard (in Hong Kong - who has been waiting for his lenses to come back from Solms for 9 weeks and for the Leica Filters even longer) On 17 Apr 2007, at 7:44 PM, lug-request@leica-users.org wrote: > Message: 1 > Date: Mon, 16 Apr 2007 23:27:06 -0400 > From: Leonard Taupier <len-1@comcast.net> > Subject: [Leica] B+W Filters on M8 > To: Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org> > > I have been testing my WA Tri-Elmar on my M8 with the 1.102 firmware > and the B+W IR cut filter.
