Order some new filters from them and check them 
out, Henning.  I have H&H filters made from the 
late 1940's to the present and have never had a 
bad one in the bunch.  The only caveat is that 
they are NOT "dyed in the mass" filters as are 
Heliopan and B+W, but the difference won't matter 
for anything other than super-critical work 
despite Zeiss's advertising to the contrary.
