That PC expression is heard on TV, in speeches and the like, but I have never met an ordinary person who used it. =========================================== Nathan, that has changed a lot in the past few years and it seems to be generational. My daughter is 27 and among her friends "African-American" is the only term I ever hear used. Most people of my own generation would still say "black." My mom still uses "Negro." My social circle is inter-generational so I hear both AA and black, with AA on the increase. -- Phil Swango 307 Aliso Dr SE Albuquerque, NM 87108 505-262-4085
