They rival the Nikon iTTL shots, if not surpassing them. Sitting on the Metz flash bracket, it's still smaller than a D2H / D2X and a standard AFS lens. Easily the best film flash shots I've taken - including with my Nikon F5 and SB28 / SB800. If it'll do that on your M8, you'll have a winner indeed. Call the Bogen line and you'll speak with their Metz reps - either Kevin or his boss Jeff. Good luck.
