Subject: USPS vs. .... was RE: [Leica] (no subject)

Ha ha, I sent Harvey a scanner via FedEx Express Saver (NOT Ground) right 
before I left. It manages to reach the TN warehouse and then.... somehow 
the waybill got lost. As you may know, the FedEx waybill pouch specifically 
say do not close the flap and let FedEx do it. May be they never closed 
this one.

Anyway so it sat and sat and sat in the TN warehouse. Someone in the FedEx 
managed to email me about 10 days later but of course I was still in Japan 
with no Internet access (irony! 'net access in HK and even GuangZhou, no 
problem!)...

It finally reached Harvey today and apparently it works at least once :-) 
so no harm done, hopefully...


Now I ship about half a dozen oversea packages every week via USPS Express 
or Global Priority Mail, and one of them just appears to may have been 
lost... sigh...
